Description
- NJ Standard Screwfeeders handle a variety of screw styles including fasteners with captive washers, short length screws, and flat head screws
- Function: Appropriate size screws are loaded by the operator into the built-in hopper
- The hopper travels up and down, dropping screws onto a vibrating rail where they are carried forward to a pickup location at the front of the feeder
- The operator brings the screwdriver to the pickup point and directs the driver bit towards the v-shaped bit guide located above the screw
- The bit guide directs the driver bit to the screw head for easy pickup
- Note: In order to use the NJ Standard Series feeder, the screw must be ferrous (capable of being picked up with a magnetized bit)
- Alternatively, a wedge-type screw/bit combination can be utilized
- For non-ferrous screws (stainless, brass, etc) or robotic applications, please use the NJR or NSR Robotic Series
